It's strange

-Just a year ago Mr. Fukuda defeated Mr. Aso in LDP presidential
election and became Japanese prime minister, didn't he?
-That's right.
-It means most of the LDP members chose Mr.Fukuda but this time
chose Mr.Aso. Why didn't they choose Mr.Aso last year?
-Maybe they felt Mr.Fukuda's policy was favorable than Mr.Aso's.
-Then how about this time? Mr.Aso's policy has been changed?
-No. This time Aso's popularity is most important.
Who cares the policy!
-It's strange!
-The general election means everything for a politician.
