Deep Sky
Looking at the Autumn deep blue sky, I feel a touch of melancholy. However high I put up my hand, still I cannot reach the depth of the sky. Only my voice is drawn into the sky, which will never reach the ear on the earth.
I have a friend, Cai Guohua, who was born and brought up in Shanghai and now lives in Tokyo.
He is an outstanding artist who can draw the essence of the object. He always carries a sketchbook with him and makes rapid but vivid sketches of people whom he comes across every here and there, such as on a commuter train, at a coffee shop, in a park and so on. Those who he draws are very ordinary Japanese people, young and old, with thousands of murmurings in mind. In this site I will try to pick up some of those murmurings.
You may see his sketches as well as their actual feelings and thoughts in life.
28年の平凡なサラリーマン生活に別れを告げられず、またサラリーマンに出戻りです。
I believe art can give you a chance to find another possibility for yourself and for society.
I support art for life and peace.
